| Trefusis | First stop is Trefusis Point, this mark is reached by driving into Penryn then taking the Flushing road, drive through flushing until you reach a dead end,walk through the woods and it's right in front of you. this mark is one of the main areas for Thornback Ray's in West Cornwall, although Bull Huss will show as well, also Spotted Ray. |
| Loe Bar | Another mark for Bass,Small Eyed Ray, Etc but anything can show due to the nature of this beach, It's like a mini Chesil. Just head for Helston, it will be sign posted from there. |
| Helford | The Helford Estuary is another Mark that has Thornbacks, Huss etc, usual summer species can be caught here as well eg Mackerel, Gar, some wrasse, Notable spots include Glendurgan, Tank tracks ( just up from the Ferryboat Inn )the Estuary is a Bass Nursery area. |
| Bell Rock | A low water mark situated between Newlyn and Mousehole, right hand side of the lifeboat station. Can only be fished 3 hours either side of low water. Plaice, Dabs, Wrasse, Mackerel and Gar are the main species here. |
| St Ives | There are a number of places to fish in St Ives, Clodgy point and the reef to the west of the town, Mans head on the left hand side of Porthmeor beach, the Island (just under the coast guard station ) Porthminister point ( right hand side of Porthminister beach ) all of which will produce Plaice, flounder,Turbot, bass etc but the prime area is Clodgy for Bass and Ray's |
| Church Cove |
This mark is right down on the Lizard itself, as you approach the Lizard village, you will see a sign post saying housel bay, take this, then look for a sign saying life boat station, park in the lifeboat station itself and take the path to the right. species caught are plaice, pollack, Mackerel, Gar, Wrasse and the occasional bass |
