WANTED - LISTENERS!

Selby District Talking News is a FREE local service that is available to all blind people, partially sighted people and those whom through illness or lack of dexterity are unable to read a newspaper.

Each week every listener receives an hour-long standard audiocassette. These are prepared by a team of volunteers and dispatched by post. After hearing the tape the listener sends back the tape in the wallets they arrive in - post FREE.

The news is of a local nature, taken from various publications and newspapers.

Districts covered are Selby, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Tadcaster, and all the surrounding villages.

We also send out a copy of Soundings each month and our Snippets magazine tape of local interest.

If you know of anyone who might enjoy receiving the tapes, please contact us at any time on our message line and leave your name and address or e-mail us and we will do the rest.

THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO

THOSE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE IT.
