European National Youth Committees Meeting

Warsaw November 29th – December 2nd 2001

Warsaw, Poland, a place like any other? Not anymore!
A spirit was diffused which will last for many more.
Years of change await us; the future of our world is bright.
Like a light at the end of a tunnel, there is hope in sight.

There are no “mights” or “ifs” and for Bahá we do not pause.
We have an army of youth ready to serve our beloved Cause.
Using the arts, music and love to spread the teachings fast.
To bring the kingdom of God to Earth and make it, forever, last!

END HIS WAITING!

United we have gathered, ready to shatter
the veils of pride and ego, or rather
self, stopping us from speaking, teaching
the message of Bahá, their hands are reaching.

On their knees begging, longing, beseeching,
looking for a change as they see their norms breaking.
Awaken! It’s your responsibility to share.
Not the Bahá'ís, but the whole world is in our care.

I dare say: "How can I be proud as a Bahá'í?
Why do I sit and expect the Concourse on High?"
Let's march, like an army of light. Fight!
Speak and act for what we know is right.

Let's shake up some atoms, Ya Bahá!
Bring an end to the Master's waiting,….. inshá'lláh!

Inspired by the great spirit of the conference.
