Serving the Bahá'ís of Northern Ireland - and the wider community

About

The Council meets regularly and organises regional events including summer and winter schools. It also facilitates the regular publication of its newsletter - CommuNIqué. Regular consultations occur with other bodies including the National Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the Republic of Ireland. Many of the responsibilities of the Council are facilitated by bodies such as committees set up for each particular function.

The overriding purpose of the Council is to bring the principles and teachings of the Bahá'í Faith to all the people of Northern Ireland in ways that are non-adversarial but thought provoking, easy to understand yet profound in their effects on the human soul.

Bahá'í communities exist throughout Northern Ireland and carry out a wide range of activities of a devotional or social nature. The Community Feast is one of a number of special events for all to get together. Summer and Winter Schools attract people from all over Ireland and further afield for residential gatherings that combine learning, fellowship, and fun.
