Nicol provides Cowala with bass guitar and main vocals - a list
which roughly translates into low frequency noise, nonsense words
and a yelp like a gibbon with salt-and-vinegar crisps stuck in its
eyelids. He is also responsible for the band website and mailing list,
thrusting a questionable sense of humour onto our unsuspecting fans.

When not playing with the kings of spaz-rock, Nicol is a struggling actor.
He's been professional for a few years and done okay with theatre work, but it's
all a bit quiet right now, giving him plenty of time to sleep until noon,
play saxaphone and be poor.
Nicol is currently working with friend Danny Eccles on scripts for a sit-com. Stuck was pretty roundly rejected, but they got some very nice rejection letters, which is just lovely. They are now working on a show set in an independent cinema which is coming together nicely. Nicol likes chinese food, the work of Evan Dorkin and gin. His favourite 17th century Protestant sect is the Ranters. |
