Tree Stump |
|

We'll go on quite a bit about our trip over Canada, ad the beautiful places we saw. This was in Banff, in the Rockies. Ithink the mountains in the background are the Sundance Range, but this tree stump was in the Vermillion Lakes. Apparently, about 10 years ago, a single beaver made a dam here that raised the lake level right up, and interupted the flow of enough water that it was recordable hundreds of miles away at a river mouth at the Pacific coast!
