I went through a phase, say a decade-and-a-half or so back, when I used to bump into Elizabeth Houston seemingly at the bottom of King Street, Belper quite often while shopping. I think if it hadn't have been Janet Wilkes it might have been Elizabeth, since she always used to smile at me so pleasantly and we might have got on together, you never know.
