Bridget Steeples (née Hall) was the most geographically proximal to me of this whole First Year class in terms of place of residence at the time (basically 'just round the corner' from Chevin Road, along Ashbourne Road, Belper) and we still come across each other occasionally – although perhaps not quite as much as you'd think we should.
